Mobile Air Quality Monitoring

Wilbur Technical Services has built a number of advanced mobile Air Quality Monitoring systems for:

  • Ambient air monitoring for compliance with air standards

  • Industrial and Research empirical measurements

  • Emergency Response

  • Leakage and remediation at source level using reverse source modeling and plotting

Physical System Design Options

  • Multiple power options, Lithium battery with inverters, back up clean compressed gas power and solar augmented systems are used for powering

  • small hybrid SUV to large work van with high capacity battery inverter systems to power analyzers, Met Gear and DAS

  • Towable trailer platform

  • remote operations of DAS and equipment with automatic alerts to users and support personnel

AQ parameters include, Organics, NO/NO2, CO, SO2, O3, NH3 , PM2.5, PM1.0, PM coarse, Black Carbon WS,WD, temp - CO2, ETO, CH4

Advanced sampling and location designs

  • Isokinetic inlets deployed to facilitate PM measurements while vehicle is underway

  • Incident velocity corrections for Met Parameters

  • Automated calibration systems with remote access capability and report generation/archiving

  • Direct GPS location

  • Power Systems with high capacity battery racks, Smart Inverter, Solar and Shore power and automatic natural gas generator options
